Our company always says, ‘Everyone Has a Story to Tell’. Little Green Frog Productions INC. certainly lives up to that statement.

It began one day in a Tim Hortons coffee shop with 2 friends reuniting…but was that really the beginning? Maybe it was 8 months earlier when Carl heard his name called out in a Canadian Tire store as he shopped, only to see Laura’s smiling face looking back at him, who he had not seen in a year. Or did the beginning really start over 15 years ago on a warm July day, when a young Laura walked into her first day on the job at a Canadian network television station and looking up from his work area, a warm smile greeted her and she heard “Hi, my name is Carl”. To be honest, they all are true and each one has its own story to tell.

The company motto is, ‘Everyone Has a Story to Tell’. Little Green Frog Productions INC. certainly lives up to that statement.

As we all know, the road of life is never perfectly smooth but full of twists, curves and unexpected challenges mixed with many successes and positive moments. The friendly, happy little green frog you see looking back at you, came from humble beginnings. Originally he was just a thought. A concept. From that idea though, working through many of those life obstacles put before the company, he appeared with his smiling face and his own story to tell. The little green frog quickly became the face of a video production company that stands for integrity, quality, exceptional service and most of all, honesty.

One day, the story will be posted on this website for you to enjoy but for now, we will just give you a highlight. The name has great meaning to the co-owners Carl Larsen and Laura Cratty. As the company was in its creation process, sitting around the kitchen table, Carl and Laura bounced ‘boring’ company names around. Laura had heard Carl tell the little green frog story and said ‘why don’t we call it Little Green Frog Productions’? Carl looked down as he felt a small tear in his eye but he smiled thinking of the true meaning the frog had to him. For now, we will tell you, there really was a little green frog out there that the company is named after and we have photos of the little guy to prove it. We trust he is still out there living a healthy and happy frog life in our beautiful British Columbia outdoors.

Bringing over 40 years of combined professional Television Broadcasting and Video Production experience together, Carl and Laura still get great pleasure when they see the happiness on their customers’ faces as they watch their completed projects. Seeing the smiles, hearing the giggles or watching tears well up in their eyes, lets the business partners know they tugged at their customers heart strings. Many say our projects can be an emotional roller coaster but a ride they love to take and revisit over and over.

With over 25 years of professional Television Broadcasting and Video Production experience, Carl still gets great pleasure seeing the happiness on customers faces as they watch their completed projects. At Little Green Frog Productions INC. we know the importance of family and friends. Hearing a loved one tell their stories can be wonderful but when they are no longer around, we know the aching in the heart from not being able to hear and see them anymore. When we hear the voice of our loved ones we did record and see their friendly face, the emotions and love come rushing forward. Our goal is to help document as many stories as possible for individuals and companies. This will allow their history and legacy to live on for younger generations to learn from and cherish for many years to come.
